New Moon

Okay so I'm a Jacob fan, and if you noticed the song playing in the background, it's the one from the movie Twilight. Is anyone as excited as I am for New Moon? I just watched Entertainment Tonight and they showed scenes from the new movie and I must say Jocob looks much improved. I think it's supposed to come out in November but honestly, who can wait that long? Since reading the twilight series I have joined a book club with a great group of girls and I'm proud to say I have now read three books in four months...I don't think I've ever done that before. I would definitely recommend these if anyone is looking for a good read.

Crawling Video

For some reason this video wouldn't upload when we first took it so I just tried it again and it worked. This is Tyler and I trying to coax Kellen into crawling. He gets distracted easily.

Guess Who's Crawling?

Kellen has been trying all week to push himself up onto his knees and move forward, and yesterday he actually did it. I am so excited for him because he has been wanting to get around and explore everything. However, I'm sure I won't be so happy when he's getting into everything he shouldn't, but I guess that's all part of being a baby right?

Easter

The Saturday before Easter we took Kellen to a church in Plano, Tx. to see the Easter Bunny.

They had a bunch of eggs laying around for those kids that missed the easter egg hunt. Kellen found them very fascinating. I can't wait until next year when he can actually run and collect them.

We even managed to get a smile out of him sitting on the Easter Bunny's lap.

They also had a cute little petting zoo for children. Here we are in front of the llama. I felt so bad for all of those animals being attacked by hundreds of little hands.

They had a few activities for babies, such as a baby pool filled with balls. Of course Kellen had to put everyone in his mouth...yuck.

The Letter M

My friend Emily tagged me. If you want to play, here's what you do. Leave me a "comment" that you want to play and I'll assign you a letter. You are to share with us 10 things you love... that begin with that letter. Then you play it forward and others will in turn leave you a comment and you can assign them a letter and on and on. Here they are in no particular order.

1. Mountains - There is nothing I love more than hiking or driving in the mountains, espcially in the Fall.

2. Missionaries - My little brother Cameron is serving in Seattle, Washington, and I am so proud of him and all the hard work he's doing for the Church.

3. Marathons - This is kind of a love hate relationship. I have only run one but I plan and can't wait to do another one soon.

4. Mom - I love my mom soooooo much! She is an incredible and gorgeous person who puts everybody else first. She is such a great example to me and I love talking with her on the phone.

5. Marriage - I love being married, it's so much better than being single. I can't wait for Tyler to get home from work.

6. Motherhood - Being a mom has been the most wonderful thing. It brings me to tears every time I think about Kellen and how much joy he's brought to my life. It hasn't been easy but I think that's why I love it so much.

7. Mesa, AZ - I love Mesa because Tyler is from there and Mesa boys are hot!!!

8. Movies - Nothing is better than sitting and watching a good movie, with a bunch of junk food.

9. Music - Listening to music in the car and singing at the top of your lungs is so fun. I wish I had tinted windows.

10. Make-up - What would we do without it? I know some girls can live without it but I sure couldn't.
