Christmas was wonderful. This year was our year to spend it with Tyler's family, and we spent it at his Grandparents cabin in Pine, Arizona. I was a little nervous how cold it would be, but surprisingly the little stove in the main family room kept the entire place toasty and warm. We all remained busy keeping the stove full of firewood. I can now say I know how to chop wood, and maintain a fire pretty well.
We had a great time chatting, and catching up with family. We watched movies, home videos, ate lots of yummy food, and played many games. We also made gingerbread houses, and decorated the cabin to feel nice and festive. One fun thing we did was take the kids out to cut down our very own Christmas tree. It was quite the adventure and didn't go as smoothly as everyone anticipated, but it will always be something we look back on with a chuckle. The tree actually fell over Christmas eve, but thankfully nobody got hurt.
Christmas Eve and Christmas day were so much fun watching all the cousins and family open presents. Kellen and Brady were thrilled and enjoyed their gifts from Santa. I'm so glad because we've decided to spend Christmas 2013 up at the cabin aswell, and I can't wait.

The amazing tree we found. Looks more like a Charlie Brown Christmas Tree, but who cares.

After Christmas Tyler's brother Jared, and his wife Tamara, blessed their sweet little girl. This is his family, one brother named Kendall is missing unfortunately.
