Waking From a Nap

I'm so glad I finally figured out how to post videos. My sister Charlotte and I were discussing how sad it was yesterday that we don't get to see eachothers kids and all the fun things they're doing since we live so far apart. So here you go Charlotte, this one is for you. This is one of my new favorite activities, going in to get Kellen from a nap. He always greets me with the biggest smile that makes me melt every time.

Playing

We borrowed this exersaucer from sweet Sammy in our ward. Kellen was very unsure of it at first but it's been fun to see how his skills have developed with it over the course of a week. Of course he doesn't show much of that in the video.

Sweet!!!

Okay, so I'm reading my e-mail today and got an e-mail from a girl in my ward offering to babysit on Valentines for Tyler and I. I was so shocked, how sweet is that? It seriously has been four months since Tyler and I have been or gone anywhere without Kellen. So, of course I said yes and now we're so excited for a night out on the town. It's hard to find babysitters in our ward since practically everyone has kids and there are no young women. Anyway, I'm a little nervous as to how he's going to be with a stranger and he's pretty difficult when it comes to going to bed, so we'll see how it goes.

One of my favorite things is letting Kellen play with only a diaper on. He's so irresistable. I wish he could keep his baby fat forever.

December Fun

Tyler and I had so much fun this December. We got the opportunity to visit Tyler's wonderful family in Branson, Missouri for 5 days. We had an awesome time staying up late playing cards, eating yummy food, attending great shows, and much much more. We were so sad when it all had to come to an end. We are happy to say that Kellen did amazing job on the journey to and from, which consisted of 8 hours both ways...what a good boy.

The week after we headed off to Utah to spend Christmas with my family. It was a full three week trip for me and sadly Tyler couldn't stay that long. He missed Kellen like crazy and I'm glad because being apart for a couple weeks definitely made us appreciate eachother:D It was hard not having him to help out with Kellen. I love my family and am so glad I was able to see them all and relax in freezing cold Utah. We were also blessed to have Kellen's baby blessing there which was a wonderful day spent with family and friends. I can't believe how fast time goes when you're having fun. I love both our families and all the great memories we made with them. Too bad Christmas only comes once a year.

Thanksgiving 2008

My brother Sam and his wife Lacey came to visit us for Thanksgiving this year. They drove down from Missouri Wednesday night and left Sunday afternoon. Lacey and I had so much fun making out first Thanksgiving dinner together. We had a blast playing the WII, making jewelry, watching football, taking walks, and sooo much more!! We miss them so much but are glad we'll see them soon for Christmas. Kellen especially can't wait because he misses their kisses and all the attention they gave him.
