The Itsy Bitsy Spider

Easter Eggs

Kellen talked about Easter weeks before it arrived. He repeated the phrase "Easter's coming" at least a dozen times every day. I think he thought it was like Christmas. I didn't get cute pictures of the boys in their Sunday best, but I am taking them to Target tomorrow to get some, so those will come shortly. Kellen had fun decorating eggs and doing the actual hunt on Sunday. Since then, we've done about 5 more just around the house. He keeps coming up to me and saying "mom, hide the eggs" I just can't resist his cute little face and how it lights up whenever he finds them.

Most of all, we are grateful for the atonement and resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We had the opportunity to go see the beautiful Easter Pageant at the Mesa Temple last Thursday and it was truly amazing. My testimony was strengthened and I am grateful for the sweet reasurrance that we have a loving Father in Heaven who loves us and sent his son so that we could return and live with him again.

At the Easter pageant

My favorite part was the drive home from the pageant. I drove home by myself with Kellen and our conversavtion went like this.

Kellen - Mom, where did Jesus go?
Chloe - The Jesus in the play wasn't the real Jesus, he was just pretending. The real Jesus is in Heaven. This Jesus was just showing us all the good things Jesus did, like how he loved the people.
Kellen - MOM, I LOVE PEOPLE TOO!!!
Chloe - You do?
Kellen - Yes mom, exactly.
Chloe - Wow, that's great.
a little later...
Kellen - Mom, DAD LOVES PEOPLE TOO!!!
Chloe - You're right, he does love people.
haha, sooo cute.

St. George Girls Trip 2011

Last years girls trip my sister Laura and I were pregnant.

This year we actually had the babies with us. Seriously, where does the time go?

We also had my wonderful sister-in-law Lacey join us this time, which made it extra special.

Every morning we went to eat breakfast at The EGG and I...we fell in love at first bite.

The weather was terrible so we relaxed around the house for a good part of the trip. We had fun playing games, painting nails, eating, talking, and playing with the babies.

We were too cold to go outside to the hot tub, so we decided to stay in and make our own. He's our sexy pose:) We did venture out the last night and use the hot tub.

My wonderful mom was the best part of the whole trip. I miss her so much and always feel so happy after getting to see her.

My little brother Cameron finished school for the summer at BYU Idaho and came down with a friend for a quick visit. Although there are usually no boys allowed, we decided to make an exception for him. (Plus we had to boys with us anyway)

The last day we were there the weather was gorgeous, of course. We wished we could've stayed one more day, but all great trips must eventually come to an end.

We made one last trip to Cold Stone before going our seperate ways...yum yum.

I always love these trips and am so lucky to have such an amazing family.

Brady did awesome the entire trip. I was so worried traveling seven hours in a car with him. We couldn't of done it without Baby Einstein, lots of snacks, and toys, but he's a good baby anyway, so that always helps. I could never have done that trip with Kellen as a baby...they have very different personalities:) He was a real champ. I missed Kellen like crazy, and there is nothing like a trip away to make you realize how much you appreciate your husband and little ones. Can't wait until next year!!!!

Anniversary Fun

For our 4 year anniversary, Tyler took the day off work. He let me sleep in that morning, which I think every wife would agree, is the best gift ever. Later that day we took the boys bowling, one of our favorite activities, and then went to grab dinner at Joe's Farm Grill (from Diners Drive-Ins and Dives). It was a wonderful, fun filled day.

Picture from two years ago. He has grown so much.

Poor Brady got his fingers trapped by the ball.

Just the two of us

A couple weeks ago, I decided it was time for Kellen and I to have a fun day with just the two of us. It gets hard some days to give my undivided attention to him, so I thought the zoo was a perfect place for us to play, have fun, and reconnect with each other. We had a blast! His absolute favorite activity was riding on the tractor. He could've stayed on that thing all day. He's getting so big, and it's so fun seeing him explore and learn about the world around him.
