You start looking forward to delivery day when...

1. you go pee downstairs, walk upstairs and need to go again.
2. shaving your legs and painting your toe nails is no longer possible.
3. one bowl of ice cream turns into three.
4. pregnancy clothes no longer fit you.
5. the scale shows numbers you never thought you would see
6. sleeping is the only thing you desire and 9 p.m. just doesn't come fast enough
7. your husband laughs at your feet and pushes on them to see the indent
8. cleaning the house seems like climbing Mount Everest.
9. peeing 6 times a night no longer phases you.
10. you see women in bathing suits and wonder what it felt like to wear one.
11. tears fill your eyes because you just wore that shirt.

Just a few funny things I was thinking about today. If you feel I missed any, please feel free to let me know. It sadly will be over before I know it, and I then I'll probably miss being pregnant like I did before...but for journaling sake.

Summer Fun

My favorite thing growing up was playing in our paddling pool in our backyard. It was fun buying one for Kellen and seeing him enjoy it as much as I did. It got in the 90's today, so it was perfect. Even though the water was freezing cold, it didn't phase him one bit. Now we just need to buy him a swimsuit to go with it.

10 weeks to go

This pregnancy has gone so much faster than the first one. I can't believe I'm already 30 weeks. It's kinda starting to scare me. I really don't know how I'm going to handle two children. I hope and pray that this baby is a little easier than Kellen was. At least we know a little bit more what we're doing this time right? But then again, every baby is so different. Our only worry is sleep deprivation:( We can't seem to forget those nights when Kellen wouldn't fall asleep until 4:00 a.m. after driving on the freeway for an hour, only to have him wake up again after we brought him inside. I guess we'll just take it one day at a time.

For now I'm just trying to enjoy these last couple months with my little man. I love our cuddle times reading books and taking walks to the park together. His vocabulary is starting to expand like crazy. He makes me laugh so hard when he babbles on pointing to things and pretending like we're having a conversation. He's been finding his old binkies and putting them in his mouth lately, trying to pretend like he's a baby. He's never liked them, so I'm sure he won't mind the baby using them. I love his blue eyes in this picture.

Oh, and one more exciting thing. Kellen started nursery three weeks ago and did awesome!!! I've never enjoyed church so much before. He only cried for a couple minutes. I can't stop peeking in the windows to see what he's up to. It's fun to watch:) My little boy is growing up.

Grandma Scott

My dear, sweet Grandma Scott just passed away. Unfortunately, my dad was the only one who got to attend her funeral since it was over in England. Although, I didn't get to see her much growing up, I loved our conversations over the phone and her cheerful attitude. She was hilarious, just like my dad. I have so many fond memories of our families last visit out to see her. She loved to play board games, especially Triominos. She had great stories to tell and loved to make us laugh by taking out her teeth. I'm glad she lived a good life and can now be reunited with my Grandpa. I hope they will both accept the gospel now. This is a picture my dad found of the both of them as a young couple. I love it!

Utah

I can't even begin to express how much fun I had in Utah with my family. It had been an entire 9 months since I had seen them. It was a trip that was long overdue. The best part was getting to see Kellen play with and enjoy his cousins. We have missed them like crazy. It always amazes me how much they all grow and change with each visit.

There is no doubt that when we get together we try to fit in as many things as possible and make every minute count. My mom and dad loved having Kellen at the house, even though he was a constant ball of energy. They spoiled him like crazy. Now we're back in Arizona and missing them already. It doesn't seem fair that we can't live closer sometimes, but I really have to appreciate all the wonderful blessings we have. Even though we can't be in the same state, at least we're within driving distance now.

These are only a fraction of the pictures taken, but they're some of my favorites.

Home At Last

We are in our new house and have been since April 6th. However, we just got internet a couple days ago and I've been working up the courage to start blogging about everything that's been going this past month. It feels like such a daunting task. Hopefully I'll get around to it soon. I have so many wonderful pictures to post of Easter and my trip to Utah. Until then, just know I love living in a house and pretending it's mine...oh wait, it is MINE!!! I love it!!! I'm off to prepare my talk for this Sunday. Oh, the joys of moving into a new ward.

Quick Update

No, we still aren't in our house yet. We keep asking ourselves "will today be the day?" It's crazy how many things keep slowing down the whole process. We're trying to be optimistic and patient but it's hard. I mostly can't wait to get Kellen on a schedule again and out of a pack-n play in his own bedroom.
I arrived in Arizona Saturday night and we've been staying at Tyler's wonderful Grandparents house. We had the best time in Utah visiting my family though and I miss them so much already. I have so many great pictures to post but unfortunately my camera plug to download pictures is packed away somewhere. Arizona has been so beautiful and warm since we got here though. My sister has been visiting her in-laws family in Mesa this weekend also. We got to take the kids to the Phoenix Zoo this morning which was awesome. I've got to run but hopefully we'll be in our new house by the time I add another post.
